"Glitched" Series

The "Glitched" series highlights the fragility of our natural world and the urgent need for conservation. Candy Darter depicts a vibrant, endangered freshwater fish found in select rivers of the eastern United States, dissolving into abstract glitch-like fragments to reflect its threatened existence. The second piece features the Cecropia – the largest North American moth, similarly breaking into abstract forms, emphasizing the vulnerability of species and ecosystems. Together, the works encourage reflection on the impact of human activity and the importance of protecting our planet’s biodiversity.
